Adam Parker is a Consultant to The Borderless Project (TBP), where he advises on the repurposing of strategic UK districts into TBP Neutral Trade Cities. His current focus is on London Canary Wharf and Ashford Kent, two sites emblematic of the urban “doom loop” TBP seeks to address through its Reimagined City Framework.

Adam’s work blends urban regeneration, smart infrastructure, and global market integration, demonstrating how TBP’s Neutral Trade City model can revive struggling economies and embed them in a multi-trillion-dollar borderless ecosystem.

At the ASCIF–TBP Africa Forum session during SCEWC25 in Barcelona, Adam will spotlight the synergies between UK and African Neutral Trade Cities. His presentation will highlight opportunities for smart city innovators, suppliers, and infrastructure developers to contribute to both regions, spanning logistics, IoT, fintech, clean energy, and sustainable urban repurposing.

The African Smart Cities Innovation Foundation (ASCIF) is honoured to announce that the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), under the chairmanship of Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi, has been confirmed as the Official Partner of the African Forum Networking Session at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 (SCEWC25) in Barcelona.

The African Forum, themed “𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗯 – 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮’𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗿,” which is being co-hosted by the African Smart Cities Innovation Foundation (ASCIF) and 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 (𝗧𝗕𝗣) will spotlight Africa’s expanding role within the Neo-Polar Neutrality Global System (NPNGS). As the Official Partner, NOTAP will host and sponsor the Networking Reception following the Forum (𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 | ⏰ 16:00–17:00), providing an exclusive platform for policymakers, city leaders, global strategists, and technology innovators to connect, exchange ideas, and explore new collaborations.

“𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮’𝘀 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗿𝗮, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆,” said Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi. David Olatunji, Convener of ASCIF, added that this partnership embodies cross-continental collaboration and advances Africa’s leadership in the global architecture of trade and technology.
